Captain Mike Haines grew up fishing and diving in South Florida waters and has an intimate knowledge of the fishing and the environment. Coast Guard licensed and insured, Capt. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida International University and for the past 15 years has given his time to teaching children athletics (baseball) and enjoys teaching them how to fish and appreciate the natural beauty and wonders of the area.

His 20' Release Back County boat, powered by a 175 HP Mercury outboard, provides room for 4 comfortably, a stable and secure ride, a roomy fishing platform, lots of storage space and can easily maneuver into the shallowest of flats where the fishing is best.

Novice to expert, spinning tackle or fly rod, Capt. Mike will make your fishing trip an adventure of a lifetime. Capt. Mike knows back country fishing and he knows these waters! He will take you to the best spots and pass on some of the secrets of great shallow water fishing.

All fuel, licenses, tackle, bait, lures and leaders are provided. Coolers and ice are also available. Just bring along your lunch, your favorite beverage, a camera and sunscreen and you'll be ready for adventure.
